My name is Dr. Robert Duff. I’m a psychologist from Southern California and I think that the field of mental health has a big problem. It is scary and intimidating. Why? When you are already struggling with emotional difficulties, the last thing that you need is some huge psychobabble manual thrown at you. My specialty is taking complex psychological issues and breaking them down into plain language.

In this book I take the information, tips, and insights that I have gained as a psychologist and translate them into language that doesn’t suck. This is the self-help book for people that don’t usually like self-help books.
I’m not going to promise that I can show you how to never have anxiety again. But I CAN show you how to reduce your sensitivity to anxiety and limit the impact that it has on your life. To me kicking anxiety’s ass means getting the knowledge, skills, and habits that you need to quiet the voice of anxiety whispering (or screaming) in your ear.
